Wellness Zambia is an independent directory of wellbeing places in Lusaka. This page explains what data the site handles and why. Questions go to [email protected].

What the site collects

There are no accounts, sign-up forms, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. Searching and filtering the directory happen in your browser and aren't sent to us.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or build a profile of you. It tells us, in total, which pages were visited, which sites people came from, and the kinds of browser, device and country they used. It doesn't tell us who you are.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Contacting a listed business

The call, WhatsApp, website and Google Maps buttons on a listing take you straight to that business or service. We don't see who you contact or what you say. The business's own terms, and those of WhatsApp or Google, apply from there.

Health and sensitive information

We never ask for health information, and please don't send it to us. If you're looking for mental health support, contact the clinic or centre directly. In a crisis, call Lifeline Zambia on 933 (adults) or Childline on 116 (children). Both are free.

When you contact us

If you email or message us, we receive your email address or phone number and what you write. We use it only to reply and to act on your request, such as correcting or removing a listing. We don't sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list. We delete messages once they're no longer needed. Email to our address is forwarded by Cloudflare to our inbox, and WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta).

Business listings

Listings contain business information from public sources such as Google Maps and the businesses' own websites: name, address, area, phone number, website, map link and Google rating. We list businesses, not private individuals. A business can ask us to correct or remove its listing at any time, and we act on removal requests promptly.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. We aim to handle personal data in line with Zambia's Data Protection Act, 2021. Write to [email protected].

Changes

If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
